Strategy& appoints Sami Darouni as the Senior Executive Advisor for Consumer Markets

UAE. Strategy&, part of the PwC network, is happy to announce that Sami Darouni has recently joined their Consumer Markets practice in the Middle East region.

Prior to joining Strategy&, Mr. Darouni was the Regional President at Mars Inc. for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region and sat on the Executive Board of Mars Inc.’s chocolate division. He was also the Brand Strategic Leader for Galaxy® chocolate globally and has held senior positions in leading multinational corporations such as Kraft Foods and Pepsico.

During his 28 years of experience in the consumer industry, Mr. Darouni focused on strategic planning, general management, business turnarounds, market entries, marketing and brand building. In addition, he has been advising international Private Equity firms on potential M&A opportunities. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Engineering from Columbia University in New York.
