UAE. A successful Dubai-based entrepreneur from Scotland has branched out into shoe design and is already taking the high-end fashion world by storm and building up a fan base with her unusual, eye-catching creations.

Catherine Granger, CEO of Trajan Consulting and owner of the newly launched LKJ International luxury brands agency, has created the So Soulier label after fulfilling a lifetime passion for glamorous footwear.

And the shoes have become a major talking point thanks to their flamboyant soles – some of which feature vibrant tartan designs in a range of colours and styles – all with a chic high gloss finish.

Her other ingenious idea was to develop footwear that image conscious women would find truly unique and personal to them – she therefore creates personalised pairs with the name of the wearer visible on the soles.

“I have worn my shoes all over the world and have been asked many times where they can be purchased,” says Granger. She explains how her move into designing came about: “Like most women I have a passion for shoes and I decided that I would try and design my own range.

"Having been a keen wearer of some of the world’s most iconic brands I wanted to create something unique, yet elegant. My idea was to provide handmade luxury that was of course stylish, but also very comfortable to the wearer. So, my brand So Soulier was born, conceived from love and passion.”

The shoes are available to purchase by direct private order. Exclusive retail locations to be announced shortly.
