UAE. Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd. issued a statement today saying that it is no longer in discussions with BBA Aviation plc about a potential combination of certain parts of its business.
The two firms had recently said they had started talks to merge some of their assets, following reports that BBA was holding talks with its U.S. rival StandardAero over a 2.7 billion pound (US$4.2 billion) tie-up.
No further details were given in the DAE statement.
