UAE. HEC Paris in Qatar – the region’s leading hub for Executive Education, offering a complete portfolio of management programs including the first ever international Executive MBA (EMBA) in Qatar – has announced its intention to take part in the ‘Access MBA One to One’ fairs taking place in Abu Dhabi and Dubai on April 11 and April 13 respectively, followed by several other fairs throughout the region.

HEC Paris in Qatar is taking part in a total of six Access MBA events in the GCC as it seeks to engage an audience across the region in highlighting the career benefits that can be accrued through its EMBA program.

Following an Access MBA fair in Doha on April 7, HEC Paris in Qatar will move on to a ‘double header’ of Access MBA events in the UAE, one of the largest business markets in the region.

With a 130-year history of excellence, HEC Paris is ranked by the UK’s Financial Times media group as the world’s number one business school for executive education in the world. In June 2010, HEC Paris joined Qatar Foundation as the first European Partner in Education City and the first member of the Qatar Foundation Management and Education Research Center.

The Acting COO of HEC Paris in Qatar, Joshua Kobb, explained, “HEC Paris offers world-leading Executive Education from its Doha hub. This is a message we will be communicating in Doha itself on April 7 with our booth at the Access MBA event, but thereafter we’re taking the message across the region; first to Abu Dhabi, and then onto Dubai two days later.

“The UAE market is very important to us as its size and concentration of business executives offers a great opportunity for HEC Paris in Qatar to raise its profile and extol the beneficial impact of holding an EMBA qualification from our institution.”

HEC Paris in Qatar will be exhibiting at the Access MBA events at Abu Dhabi’s Hilton Hotel on April 11 and Dubai’s Dusit Thani Hotel on April 13. Experienced managers interested in the HEC Executive MBA program will have the opportunity for a ‘one to one’ meeting with the institution’s Enrollment Manager at these gatherings.

Access MBA One-to-One Tour is a series of more than 50 recruitment events worldwide designed to better inform prospective students of existing MBA opportunities and to assist business schools in the optimization of their recruitment activities. Mr Kobb added,

“We’re expecting a good deal of interest in our booths in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and beyond from prospective participants in our EMBA program and we’re looking forward to getting our message across to interested parties. HEC Paris in Qatar is the leading Executive Education hub in the Middle East, offering a range of programs that can make a hugely positive impact on an executive’s career.”

After its participation in the twin UAE-based Access MBA events, HEC Paris in Qatar will go forward with Access MBA and take part in three further fairs on the schedule: Kuwait on April 9, Amman, Jordan on April 15 and Beirut on April 17.

SAUDI ARABIA. The Saudi Arabian index is the region's most diverse capital market due to its size and maturity; Jadwa Investment views the opening up of the Tadawul as an overall positive but believes a cautious and considered path to reform is the best way forward, much like the Chinese example.
