Mahindra Satyam reiterates its commitment to Qatar in 2010

QATAR. Mahindra Satyam, the new brand identity of Satyam Computer Services,a leading global consulting and IT services provider, hosted a customer focused roadshow in Doha, Qatar recently with aims to emphasise among clients and partners its commitment to the regional market and ensure that its strategy for 2010 addresses their needs.

Manish Mehta, Chief Delivery Officer; Dilip Jha, Head of Middle East, Africa and India; and Manojeet Chowdhury, Head of Middle East and North Africa participated in the meet. The leadership shared Mahindra Satyam's vision and the growth strategy and interacted with the customers.

Daniel Hume of KPMG delivered the keynote address on 'Driving business value through IT performance' and shared his perspectives with the audience. More than 35 Senior Managers of leading Qatar companies like Qatar Telecom, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar National Bank, Qatari Diar, Teyseer Group, Salam International, including Government of Qatar entities like ICT Qatar, Ministry of Business and Trade participated in the event.

Further, Sanjeev Kohli, the Minister for Political and Commercial Affairs with the Indian Embassy in Qatar also participated in the event and shared his insights of Mahindra Satyam and the Mahindra Group in general.

Qatar contributes a healthy percentage of Mahindra Satyam's Middle East revenues and is home to a number of high profile companies that are among the company's 200 existing customers in the
region.

 "We have a long history of delivering projects successfully and delighting our Middle East customers including Qatar.

A resurgent Mahindra Satyam along with the resulting synergy from the Tech Mahindra, the other IT company in the Mahindra Group will continue to guarantee the same service excellence that we are known for," said Manish Mehta, Chief Delivery Officer, Mahindra Satyam in his address to the
participants.
