UAE. Hydra Properties, the Abu Dhabi-based master developer, hosted a day of site visits for its Hydra Village customers this past weekend.

As the UAE capital attracted tens of thousands of visitors from across the globe, many of Hydra’s investors took the opportunity to combine their visit to the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with a progress update and site visit to Hydra Village.

A large number of investors were welcomed by Hydra representatives to the company’s flagship development, Hydra Village, between 9am and 6pm on Friday 30 October 2009.

The visit gave Hydra’s customers an opportunity to see the show villas and construction progress, as well as a chance to ask questions about the project.

Omaima Nasser, one of Hydra’s many investors who came to see the progress on site. She said:

“The reception was very nice today. They have received us in a nice manner with a breakfast buffet prepared for us, and we have been treated very well.

“Today, now that I’m looking at the villa and the layout, I see the finishing is very nice, the layout is beautiful. We have made a few suggestions and hopefully they will take them in to consideration. I think it’s a beautiful location.

The construction in ongoing as we speak and I’m very happy with the progress of work, the finishing, the shape of the villa and the material used - everything looks good. ”

Ali Bin Sulayem, Hydra Properties’ Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are always looking for ways of engaging with our customers. As many of our investors are in the UAE for the races, we had a great opportunity to show them the progress we are making at Hydra Village, and update them on the coming milestones.

“We are committed to hosting many more site visits when we have customers registering interest.”
