UAAE. Sage Software, the leading global supplier of ERP, CRM, and HRM solutions to small, medium and large organisations, announced that it has inked a strategic partnership deal with ITE Distribution, a Dubai-based IT distribution company.

Experienced in dealing with regional retailers and resellers, ITE will be involved in the distribution of Sage Software’s ‘Peachtree’ accounting software range and ‘ACT!’ contact and customer management solution across the Middle East.

Under the terms of the contract, ITE will handle all distribution activities for both products – from launches, stocking of supplies, in-store merchandise, product display, to appointment and development of resellers.

In line with this, the company has committed to bringing forward the excellent features of ‘Peachtree’, including its ability to project cash flow through cash management tools, multi-year reporting, trend analysis, easier payroll management, real-time alerts, and streamlined time and expense tracking.

Designed to address companies’ contact and customer management needs, ‘ACT!’ helps improve marketing effectiveness to attract new customers and get more from existing relationships.

“Forging strategic collaborations with competent companies with whom we can nurture healthy business relations that benefit the partners and the market as a whole has always been a part of our business approach,” said Vikram Suri, Managing Director, Sage Software.

“The addition of ITE Distribution to our list of trusted partners further strengthens our strategy of combining the advantages of our top-of-the-line solutions with our strong distribution network to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and extensive reach across the regional market.”

At present, the region is witnessing high demand for business and contact management applications.

To address this, Sage Software is focusing on fortifying its distribution channel to ensure its products’ availability to regional reseller and retailer channel.

Specifically, they will carry out all the sales and marketing activities on the ground to help resellers and retailers sell the product, such as conducting training sessions to give sales teams the confidence and technical know that will enable them to suggest the right product to the end customer.

Distributors will also help organise or participate in seminars, events and exhibitions on behalf of Sage Software to sell and promote its products.

“We are very excited to include Sage Software’s products to our portfolio, given their excellent features and the host of benefits it can offer to regional businesses.

We are looking forward to the opportunities this partnership will open up for both Sage Software and ITE Distribution, and we are committed to helping our new partner gain a larger share of the regional market,” concluded Shams Jafery, Director, ITE Distribution.

Backed by an 18-year experience as an IT distributor in the UAE, ITE has distinguished itself as a leading retail distributor through valuable partnerships with its vendors, retailers, channel partners and its own team.

It has built longstanding association with vendors, which has resulted in successful product penetration and market share growth for several prominent brands in the region. With a main office in Dubai and a logistics centre in Jebel Ali Free Zone, the company’s distribution territory includes the GCC, the broader Middle East region, the entire African continent as well as the CIS countries.
