UAE. Kia is hailing the 2009 Road Show a success after over 350 fans and enthusiasts took part, test drove and experienced the full capabilities of Kia’s popular vehicles on the nationwide tour.

The Road Show began in Dubai from 8 October at Ibn Battuta Mall, before moving to Khalidiyah Mall in Abu Dhabi on 15 October.

On 22 October the Road Show entertained fans at Manar Mall in Ras al Khaimah and on 29 October the show made its final stop at Al Qasaba, in Sharjah.

“It was a great success with people really interested and keen to get up close and personal with Kia’s latest models,” said Mohammed Al Khader, General Manager, AL Majid Motors- KIA.

“There was a real atmosphere of celebration as we had test drives, games and loads of prizes for everyone to take part in.

“The main theme for the show was to promote physical activity, in line with Kia’s adventurous and young-at-heart spirit, so we were able to get everyone involved and it became a family day out for some.”

Ten Kia models were available for test drive at the road show, including Kia’s newly launched Soul and Cerato models, which have been highly acclaimed both here in the UAE and globally.

Kia Soul is a cross over vehicle with a unique exterior combined with a roomy interior and multifunctional features.

The 2009 Cerato is an updated and revamped version of last year’s model and is available in both 1.6L & 2.0 L engines.
