du announces BlackBerry credit back offer

UAE. du is bringing huge savings to mobile users with a new BlackBerry credit back offer. Customers who purchase a BlackBerry smartphone, together with an Elite Plan, can either opt for six months of du Unlimited national BlackBerry Internet service absolutely free, or six months of du Unlimited international BlackBerry Internet service at a 50% discount. Both options will save BlackBerry smartphone users a total of AED 780.

In addition, du customers will get AED 124 back as free credit (AED31 over four months). This credit can be utilised for any kind of usage,  giving customers a total credit back of AED904.

“At du, we are always seeking ways to surprise our customers with excellent value, savings and flexibility,” said Farid Faraidooni, EVP Commercial, du.

“This credit back offer is a prime example of du’s efforts to give customers more than they expected. Whether they choose credit back for their national or international BlackBerry Internet service, they’ll get six months of savings to enjoy.”

To take advantage of the credit back offer, customers will need to buy any of the BlackBerry smartphones, all of which offer a world-class interface for social networking and multi-media, as well as access to email, music, a built-in camera, Wi-Fi and GPS.

Customers must keep using the Elite Plan SIM with their purchased BlackBerry® smartphone to enjoy the credit back offer.

Existing Pay as you Go and Monthly Plan customers can take advantage of the offer by migrating to the Elite Plan. Credit back will be given starting with customers’ second bill cycle.

du Unlimited national BlackBerry Internet service gives customers unlimited data usage within the UAE for free for the first six months, an offer worth AED130 per month for a grand total of AED780 in savings.

du Unlimited international BlackBerry Internet service gives customers a 50% discount on monthly fees for BlackBerry Internet service within and outside the UAE.

That means for the first six months, the fee will be AED130 instead of AED260 per month, for a total savings of AED 780.
