UAE. Lloyds TSB Middle East, part of the Lloyds Banking Group, today announced the appointment of Richard Musty as the new Head of it’s Middle East business.

Tony Wilcox, Head of Lloyds Banking Group’s Expatriate Banking business said: “We recognise that the coming year will be a crucial period for the Banking industry and that there are many challenges and opportunities ahead. 

Richard’s broad skill set and leadership capabilities together with his experience in managing businesses through economic cycles will be fundamental assets to our business.”

Richard previously held the position of Consumer Banking Director at Lloyds TSB Middle East. During his 27 year career with the Group, Richard has held many senior roles including Regional Chief Executive for Lloyds TSB in Asia, Island Director for Lloyds TSB in Guernsey, Head of Offshore Personal Banking and Head of the Offshore Treasury & International business. 

Commenting on his appointment, which begins with immediate effect, Richard Musty said: “I am excited to accept this position and look forward to driving the business towards success and to build on the strength of our current platform - I am passionate about capturing the potential of our business in the Middle East.”

The main branch of Lloyds TSB is in Jumeirah, housed in a custom built landmark building, located on Al Wasl Road opposite Safa Park.
