UAE. -- (AETOSWire) -- In line with its efforts towards business excellence and commitment to Quality, Grundfos, the award-winning world leader in advanced pump and water application systems, has recently updated the certification to ISO 9001.2015 – ISO’s latest flagship quality management standard, now recognized around the world as the measure of a company’s ability to offer products and services of consistent high quality.

Grundfos supply chain processes boast a world-class level of efficiency, speed and flexibility to cater to clients around the Middle Eastern region. The high level of digitalization and modern equipment used in the operations, the use of SAP software to process orders and the strict quality control procedures applied by Grundfos in its own test facilities ensure the highest levels of quality, reliability, energy efficiency and performance that Grundfos demands and customers expect.

Kostas Poulopoulos, Grundfos Area Managing Director, Middle East and Turkey noted, “Grundfos Dubai is much more than a pump distributor in the region, it is in fact a manufacturer and assembly warehouse with cutting-edge capabilities. We aimed to acquaint customers with the Grundfos leading Dubai facility, and the advantage of having their pumps assembled in Grundfos Dubai. Our strategic location means we can deliver Grundfos’ leading pump solutions quickly and efficiently, to meet the tightest deadlines.”

Grundfos philosophy aims to exceed clients’ expectations and deliver quality, service and reliability. “All pump components are sourced from Grundfos’ manufacturing base in Denmark and have the same standards as those used in our European factories. They are then stored in Dubai, ready for assembly as needed; under strict quality control conditions, rather than keeping finished stock units,” he continued.

Grundfos is located in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), the world’s largest and most sophisticated free zone, alongside several renowned leading international companies and manufacturing giants. This ensures shorter lead times for customers and aptly positions the company to support the Dubai’s industrialization vision.

“Sharing this valuable information with our clients and target audience is part of our aim to engage them in the full process that our products undergo, from manufacturing, to testing, to quality control, to handling and finally to the end destination at our client’s side. We are extremely proud to be a company that embraces transparency as an essential part of its DNA, and we will always ensure to adopt this approach in the future. Our impressive purpose-designed plants allow us to serve customers throughout the wider Middle East and beyond,” concluded Poulopoulos.
