QATAR. Cartier's 300 square meters stand at the 9th Doha Jewellery & Watch Exhibition dazzles visitors with exquisite creations inspired by oriental influences.

Diamonds, sapphires, emeralds, precious gems, and fine pearls formed a spectacular inventory of extraordinary works of art bursting with imagination and sophisticated expertise.

Inspired by the Middle-Eastern myths, symbols and fascinating culture, these exquisite creations are a true statement of Cartier’s love of craftsmanship, know-how, creativity and audacity. Highly refined Arabesque patterns and shapes handcrafted in exquisite creations will enchant jewellery lovers at the fair asserting Cartier's power of a true jeweller par excellence.

In 1903, Louis Cartier was impressed by the exhibition of Islamic Arts in the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris. This initial encounter marked the start of a lifelong passion, and was expressed through his growing collection of Arabic art objects. Arabic-style patterns began providing geometric base for creation from 1920s. Today the Middle East remains one of Cartier’s strong inspirations.

As a tribute to its loyal clientele and watch connoisseurs, Cartier will also be revealing for the first time an exceptional masterpiece from its Fine watchmaking collection brought especially for the Qatar exhibition.
