UAE. E-Marine, the region’s leader in submarine cable deployment, maintenance and repair, today hosted a delegation of senior media representatives from Egypt onboard one of its Cable Ships at Port Rashid, Dubai.

During their visit, the members of the press were escorted around Cable Ship “Etisalat” where they were briefed about the vessel’s multi-roles during repair & installations of submarine cables.

E-Marine’s General Manager for Commercial, Ibrahim Al Owais welcomed the delegation and explained the company’s plans for the future: “We have been in the field of Subsea cabling for more than 20 years now, providing services to our friends, colleagues and business associates in the industry at regional & international levels. 

Our aim is to continue such robust efforts through enhanced technology, cost-effective solutions and permanent local support".

E-marine owns three Cable Ships and one special purpose cable laying aupport vessel which are equipped with state of the art equipments. Cable Ship Etisalat is a medium-sized cable ship which is designed to operate in shallow waters. 

Cable Ship NIWA and Cable Ship Umm Al Amber are large cable ships which can operate for longer periods at sea. Special Purpose Vessel, WASEL is designed to play a vital role in shallow water operations to provide support for diving, survey, shore end cable landings.

E-marine’s storage facilities guarantee longer storage life in controlled environment. The depots are equipped with testing and jointing facilities by highly qualified professionals. It also undertakes Cable freight services to meet customer demand.

E-marine has two Cable Depots – one in Hamriya Free Zone, UAE and the other at the port of Salalah, Oman.
