By re-creating a live magazine photo shoot, Deira City Centre will be giving shoppers the chance to strike a pose, and take home a souvenir magazine cover shot of their own, as well as win a shopping spree worth a grand total of AED 50,000, and an opportunity to see Bollywood celebrity and award-winning actress Kangna Ranaut.
Under the direction of one of the region’s leading fashion magazines, the ‘Be a Cover Star’ event from November 10-13th will transform Deira City Centre’s main stage into a live photo studio. Shoppers who spend AED 300 in any of the mall’s fashion stores will receive a “stage pass” to get an exclusive chance to step into the shoes of a model, strike a pose and have a professional photo taken.
All cover shots can then be downloaded from a special application on the Deira City Centre Facebook page, and inserted into a personalised frame as a take-away gift courtesy of the mall. ‘Cover Shots’ who also receive the most ‘Likes’ on the Facebook page, can also win more – shopping sprees of AED 5,000, AED 3,000 and AED 1,000!
Throughout this time, Deira City Centre will also be rewarding shoppers with an incredible AED 50,000 shopping spree, with any AED 300 purchase at any fashion outlet in the mall. Raising the ante, shoppers who spend in any of the newly-opened stores will double their chances to win the Grand Prize – in addition to receiving their official stage pass invite to ‘Be a Cover Star’.
Offering some once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to either win a massive shopping spree or become a magazine cover star, Deira City Centre will also provide 10 lucky shoppers with the opportunity to personally ‘Meet & Greet’ Kangna Ranaut on November 14th, through a series of contests airing on radio, in leading fashion magazines and on social media.
